UCL Training: The behavior change wheel
A virtual implementation science training with four progressive sessions held January 21, 28 and February 4 and 11, 2021.
The Behavior Change Wheel (BCW) a method for characterizing and designing behavior change interventions.
The training is led by The Centre for Behavior Change (CBC) and brings together academics from a wide range of disciplines and policy-makers, practitioners and others, creating a vibrant hub for developing ideas, methods, theories and evidence about behavior change, and translating that expertise to achieve real-world impact, nationally and internationally. NEISE Implementation science Conference 2019
The first Implementation Science Conference at Emory was held November 14-15, 2019.
Day One featured keynote speaker, Byron Powell (University of Washington), three plenaries, and three networking sessions. Topics included Engaging Multi-disciplinary collaboration, Planning Implementation Research; Designing and Conducting Implementation Research; Analyzing Data for Implementation Research; and Generating Research Ideas.
Day Two focused on proposal workshopping including What is needed for implementation science proposals; Early stage brainstorming; Peer review of specific aims; One-on-one mentoring of proposal development; Open discussion on healthcare; and Open discussion on infectious diseases and STIs.
